New Delhi:India’s 2012 Under-19 World Cup captain Unmukt Chand suffered an eye injury while playing cricket. Taking to Twitter, the cricketer posted photos of himself where one of his own can be seen injured. He captioned the image and asked people to be safe while they played, the caption which read: “It’s never a smooth run for an athlete. Some days you go home victorious, other days disappointed and there are days when you go home with bruises and bumps. Grateful to God for having survived a possible catastrophe. Play hard but be careful. It’s a thin line. Thanks for the good wishes”
While it’s a good thing that you love the game, it’s also important that you wear your protective gear, and it’s essential no matter what game you’re playing.
