“If you are everything that you really are not, you are Instagram worthy”

My husband is extremely active on Instagram. Every now and then I scroll through his account. Strangely, I never appear in his messages. I didn’t really think about it until I found a very edited photo of our vacation shot. He had filtered his photo so much that he looked like Milind Soman without a beard. He had even changed the color of his eyes! What was shocking was that he conveniently deleted my image. When I confronted him he told me, in a few words perhaps, but in his tone, which was worse, that I was not “Instagram worthy”. I am hurt. What is Instagram worth?
If you are everything that you really are not, you are Instagram worthy. Pouty lips, high cheekbones, arched eyebrows, flawless white skin, contoured face, teeth like pearls, against a surreal or fantastic background. You will look like a fake Michael Jackson. So go to Insta and just replace your husband’s photos with Tom Cruise, Bradley Cooper, Hrithik Roshan, or Daniel Craig. This will explain “Insta worthy” to him.
I really like to wear rompers. But I find them inconvenient, especially when I’m on a date and need to go to the bathroom. And on other occasions. is there a solution?
Do not drink liquids on the day you decide to wear one. What else can I say? On a date, if you spend too much time in the bathroom, he may think you’re pooping. Then? Are you sure you want to make it look like it doesn’t? However, let’s stay away from the psychopathology of desire and just say that if rompers are the problem, why don’t you stick with some good ol ‘shorts and a top? After all, what are rompers? Partly dress and part shorts. Keep the two separate.
Not everything is a bundle.
I am a 42 year old male. During training I find cycling shorts or leggings to be quite comfortable. But someone tells me that these tight clothes are mainly for women. Is there any truth in this? It bothers me a bit. Now that I have become aware, I can tell people are staring at me. Is there a way to appear less visible?
Fashion is no longer gender specific. You can wear a saree as long as you are comfortable. You can continue to wear the shorts underneath.
