Super Saturday | Geisinger

DANVILLE, Pennsylvania – Geisinger is hosting its second Super Saturday flu shot event this coming Saturday, October 8, at 42 locations across the system footprint.

Flu shots are free and available to everyone in the community – no appointment necessary. Simply hop in and receive a photo without leaving your vehicle. At locations without drive-in shoots, walk-in shoots are available.

Super Saturday flu shot clinics run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The last Super Saturday event of this year will take place on November 5th.

“It’s so important to get vaccinated not only to protect yourself, but also to protect those vulnerable to serious illnesses, including children, the elderly, and the immunocompromised,” said Stanley Martin, MD, division director Geisinger’s infectious diseases. “We could see more cases this year than we’ve had in the past five years, so to keep everyone healthy, we want to vaccinate as many people as possible.”
